The AIC1594 is a 1A step-down PWM regulator from Analog Integrations Corporation. It can operate at input voltages from 4.5V to 36V and has 2.5V, 3.3V, 5V, 12V, and adjustable output versions. The adjustable version has an output voltage range of 1.25V to 30V with ±4% maximum line and load regulation. The regulator is available in TO220-5 and TO263-5 packages and requires only 4 external components. It has a fixed constant frequency of 150KHz/300KHz, a low power standby mode (IQ typically 80µA), TTL shutdown capability, output overvoltage protection, current limit and thermal shutdown protection, and a guaranteed output current of 1A.
