Agilent Determination of Quinolone Antibiotics in Bovine Liver Using Agilent Bond Elut QuEChERS Kits by LC/MS/MS Manual

This paper presents an analytical method for the determination of 11 quinolone antibiotic residues in bovine liver. The method involves a rapid and efficient pretreatment using Agilent Bond Elut QuEChERS kits, followed by extraction and partitioning, and dispersive solid phase extraction for cleanup. The compounds are then determined using LC-ESI-MS-MS in positive ion MRM mode. The method demonstrates good accuracy and precision, with a limit of quantification significantly lower than the maximum residue limit for quinolones in food producing animals.
