Agilent ADNS-2001 Optical Mouse Sensorhandbook
Update: 29 September, 2023
Agilent ADNS-2001 is an optical mouse sensor that utilizes optical navigation technology, providing superior precision and smooth navigation optimized for desktop and portable mouse applications. It has no mechanical moving parts, ensuring high reliability and no maintenance required. The sensor is a complete compact 2-D motion sensor that replaces the mechanical ball system in traditional mice. It offers two selectable output modes, a high-speed motion detector that accurately measures up to 16 inches per second at 400 cpi, and accurate navigation over a wide range of surfaces. The ADNS-2001 is compatible with high volume manufacturing processes, requires no precision optical alignment, and is wave solderable. It is 33% faster than HDNS-2000, operating at 2000 fps (@ 24 MHz).
