This document introduces the availability of thick-film audio power amplifier ICs that are pin-compatible, allowing a single PCB to be designed and the amplifier output capacity to be changed simply by installing a hybrid IC. This new series of ICs was developed to ensure integration between systems. With this new series of ICs, it is even possible to change from a 3-channel amplifier to a 2-channel amplifier using the same PCB. Additionally, this new series of ICs supports a 6/3Ω drive to accommodate the low impedance of modern speakers.
