This document is an introduction to ADP1111, a micropower step-up/step-down SW regulator that provides adjustable and fixed 3.3V, 5V, 12V output voltages. The product operates at a frequency of 72kHz, has an input voltage range of 2V to 30V, uses surface mount inductors, requires very few external components, can operate in step-up/step-down or inverting mode, has a low battery detector, user adjustable current limit, internal 1A power switch, fixed or adjustable output voltage, and an 8-pin DIP or SO-8 package.
