This document describes a self-contained board that includes a synthesizer, VCO, and loop filter for generating GSM frequencies (819MHz to 915MHz). It is designed for a 20kHz loop bandwidth. The accompanying software allows complete control of synthesizer functions from a PC. The board can be battery operated with a choice of 3V or 5V supplies. It has a typical phase noise performance of -91dBc/Hz @ 1kHz offset and a typical spurious performance better than -90dBc at 200kHz offset. This document is provided by Analog Devices.
