This document describes the features and characteristics of the ADF4112EB1 evaluation board. The evaluation board is a self-contained circuit board that includes a frequency synthesizer and VCO for generating CDMA frequencies. It is designed for a 3kHz loop bandwidth and comes with accompanying software for complete control of the synthesizer functions from a PC. The board can be battery operated with a choice of 3V or 5V supplies and has typical phase noise performance of -81dBc/Hz at 300 Hz offset and better than -81dBc spurious performance at 30kHz offset from the carrier.
