ANALOG DEVICES AD7751* handbook
Update: 30 September, 2023
AD7751 is a high-precision IC for energy metering, supporting 50Hz/60Hz IEC 687/1036, with a dynamic range of 500:1, average power output to frequency outputs F1 and F2, high-frequency output CF for calibration and supplies instantaneous power, continuous monitoring of phase current and neutral current allows fault detection in two-wire distribution systems, in the case of fault, AD7751 uses the larger of the two currents (phase or neutral) for billing, two logic outputs (FAULT and REVP) are used to indicate potential wiring errors or fault conditions, can be directly driven by electromechanical counters and two-phase stepper motors (F1 and F2), the current channel PGA allows the use of smaller shunt and load resistance, proprietary ADCs and DSP provide high accuracy over large variations in environmental conditions and time, with power supply monitoring and anti-creep function
