The AD1837 is a 5V stereo audio codec with various features and characteristics. It supports sample rates up to 96 kHz and has 16-/20-/24-bit word lengths. The codec features multibit modulators for reduced idle tones and noise floor. It also includes ADCs and DACs with -95 dB THD + N, 105 dB SNR and dynamic range, and -92 dB THD + N, 108 dB SNR and dynamic range, respectively. The codec also has software-controllable volume controls, clickless mutes, digital de-emphasis processing, and supports multiple clock modes and serial data interfaces.
