The TK5530 is a complete transponder for immobilizer and identification systems. It consists of a plastic cube housing the e5530 IDIC chip and a tuned LC-circuit antenna. It operates at a carrier frequency of 125 kHz and stores identifying data in a 128-bit PROM. It immediately detects any attempt to fake the base station.
