The document describes the features and characteristics of Agilent's 8mm (0.31 inch) ultra mini seven segment displays. These displays have high light output, high peak current, and are excellent for long digit string multiplexing. They are compact in size with 8mm character height and a wide range of color options. The displays have a gray/black surface for optimum contrast and evenly lighted segments with mitered corners. They have a ± 50° viewing angle and can be configured as either common anode or common cathode, with a right hand decimal point. The displays are commonly used in appliances, temperature controllers, and digital panel meters.
