FN6140.1 is a sensitive electrostatic discharge device that requires proper IC handling procedures. It is a CMOS programmable peripheral interface chip manufactured by Intersil, which can be used with many different microprocessors. It has 24 programmable I/O pins and can be used in three major modes of operation. The chip is compatible with 80C86, 80C88, and other microprocessors, with high performance and industry-standard configuration. The static CMOS circuit design ensures low operating power. Intersil's advanced SAJI process results in performance equal to or greater than existing functionally equivalent products at a fraction of the power.
