FA7611CP(E) is a bipolar IC produced by Panasonic that contains the basic circuit necessary for PWM-type switching power supply control. This chip has low voltage operation (VCC = 3.6 to 22V), pre-drivers (CH1 is open-collector output or bipolar output, CH2 is open-collector output), power supply lockout function, soft-start function, and one capacitor shared for short circuit protection and soft start to minimize the number of external discrete components.
