This document describes the features and characteristics of the Fairchild Power Switch (FPS) product family, including precision fixed operating frequency, low start-up current, pulse by pulse current limiting, over current protection, over voltage protection, internal thermal shutdown function, under voltage lockout, and internal high voltage sense FET. The FPS is suitable for SMPS applications in VCRs, SVRs, STBs, DVDs, DVCDs, printers, facsimiles, scanners, and camcorder adapters.
