This document describes the applications and specifications of Vishay BCcomponents' KP/MKP series AC and pulse metallized polypropylene film capacitors. These capacitors are used in high current and steep pulse situations, primarily in deflection circuits in television sets. Features include a pitch range of 10mm to 27.5mm, flame retardant epoxy encapsulation, and RoHS compliance. The capacitance range is from 0.1nF to 270nF, with a tolerance of ±5% or ±3.5%. The rated temperature is 85°C, with a maximum application temperature of 105°C.
