The LP3992 regulator is a micropower 1.5V CMOS voltage regulator with shutdown control. It is designed for portable, battery-powered systems and provides an accurate output voltage, low noise, and low quiescent current. The LP3992 can prolong battery life by providing a 1.5V output from a low input voltage of 1.9V. It also features short-circuit and thermal-shutdown protection. The device is stable with small ceramic capacitors and is available in an SOT23-5 package.
