The LM2679 is a high efficiency 5A step-down switching regulator with adjustable current limit. It features a low ON-resistance DMOS power switch and achieves up to 92% conversion efficiency. The device uses a fixed frequency oscillator (260KHz) which allows for smaller physical components.
