This is a low-power, high-quality audio codec that supports stereo audio DAC and mono audio ADC, supports up to 48 ksps rates. The audio codec has a sound quality of up to 97-dBA, low power consumption of only 11-mW, supports stereo audio playback. The audio codec also features a 325-mW, 8-Ω speaker driver, stereo headphone amplifier and capless output option, microphone preamp and hardware automatic gain control, integrated PLL, supports flexible audio clock generation, programmable digital audio bass/treble/EQ/De-Emphasis, direct battery measurement, accepts up to 6-V input, integrated temperature measurement, SPI and I2S serial interface, full power-down control, 32-Pin 5 x 5 mm QFN package.
