The MAX13171E series is a multi-protocol serial interface chip launched by Texas Instruments. It supports V.28, V.10, V.11 and V.35 protocols. The chip integrates a charge pump and low-dropout transmitter output stage, which supports single-supply operation. The chip also has short-circuit current limiting and thermal shutdown circuits to protect the transmitter and receiver outputs from excessive power consumption. The MAX13171E series operates at a voltage range of +3.135V to +5.5V and a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The package is a 5mm x 7mm, 38-pin TQFN.
