MAXIM MAX98300 handbook

The MAX98300 is a mono 2.6W Class D amplifier that provides Class AB audio performance with Class D efficiency. It offers five selectable gain settings controlled by a single gain-select input. The device features active emissions-limiting edge-rate and overshoot control circuitry, reducing EMI. It also utilizes a patented filterless spread-spectrum modulation scheme, eliminating the need for output filtering found in traditional Class D devices. The MAX98300 has industry-leading low quiescent current of 0.78mA at 3.7V or 1.1mA at 5V, extending battery life in portable applications. It is available in an 8-pin TDFN-EP (2mm x 2mm x 0.8mm) and a 9-bump (1.2mm x 1.2mm) WLP package.
