The ADL5306 is a low-cost logarithmic converter designed for fiber optic photodiode interfacing. It can measure current over 3 decades with 0.1 dB law conformance. The product can operate on a single or dual supply and has full log-ratio capabilities. It is temperature stable and the slope and intercept can be adjusted using external resistors. The product has a rapid response time, miniature chip scale package, and low power consumption.
