The Fluke 233 True-rms Remote Display Digital Multimeter allows the user to have ultimate flexibility in unusual measurement scenarios with its removable display. The user can place the display where it can be seen and then put the meter where it is convenient, eliminating the need to juggle leads and the meter while stretching into tight spots. It also solves the dilemma of trying to take measurements in hard-to-reach places or making measurements in machines or panels that are physically separated from a limit or isolator switch. Additionally, it can be used in areas where the operator can't be close to the active measurement point, such as clean rooms or hazardous areas. The product features true-rms ac voltage and current for accurate measurements on non-linear signals, measurement capabilities up to 1000 V ac and dc, up to 10 A (20 A for 30 seconds), a capacitance range of 10,000 µF, frequency measurement up to 50 kHz, and a built-in thermometer for temperature readings. The low power wireless technology allows the display to be carried up to 10 meters (33 ft) away from the point of measurement for added flexibility, without interfering with measurements. The removable magnetic display can be conveniently mounted where it is easily seen, allowing measurements to be made without holding the meter and improving visual focus on probes for safe electrical measurements.
