MAXIM MAX8576 MAX8579 Guide

MAX8576-MAX8579 is a low-cost, 3V to 28V input, hysteresis synchronous step-down controller with the following features: 1.2% accuracy, adjustable output voltage, 200kHz to 500kHz switching frequency, adjustable, temperature-compensated 'hiccup' current limiting, non-destructive peak current detection, monotonic start-up from prebiased output (MAX8576/MAX8578), start-up overvoltage protection (MAX8577/MAX8579), enable/disable, and adjustable soft-start.
