National Semiconductor LM1270 handbook(1)
Update: 29 September, 2023
The LM1270 is a supplementary IC to the low cost chipset (LCCS). It modifies the video stream prior to the LCCS preamplifier and enhances pictures or motion video through special intermediate frequency boosting. The 200 MHz bandwidth ensures minimal impact on the video change when adding the LM1270. Other functions include measuring the length of the active video and its front porch time, calibration mode for determining image coordinates, data receiver for receiving encoded data on video, window highlight with respect to sync, and video source selection with two analog inputs.
