The TLP116A is a photocoupler produced by Toshiba. It uses GaAℓAs light-emitting diodes and integrated high gain, high-speed photodetectors, suitable for surface mounting. The unit is housed in the 6-pin SO package and guarantees a creepage distance of ≥ 5.0mm, a clearance of ≥ 5.0mm and an insulation thickness of ≥ 0.4mm. Therefore, the TLP116A meets the reinforced insulation class requirements of international safety standards.
