ANALOG DEVICES ADE7761 datasheet

Update: 30 September, 2023

ADE7761 is a high accuracy active energy measurement IC from Analog Devices, which supports IEC 687/61036 standard. Its dynamic range is 500:1 and the maximum measurement accuracy can reach 0.1%. It supports frequency outputs F1 and F2, and high frequency output CF for calibration and instantaneous active power supply. ADE7761 adopts continuous monitoring of phase current and neutral current to realize fault detection in 2-wire distribution systems. The current channel input level is suitable for current transformer sensors. In the case of a fault, the larger of the two currents (phase or neutral) is still used for billing. ADE7761 adopts continuous monitoring of voltage and current inputs to realize missing neutral detection. When missing neutral is detected, the current channel (phase or neutral) is used for billing. ADE7761 has two logic outputs that can be used for fault and missing neutral detection.
