The ADF4156 is a 6 GHz fractional-N frequency synthesizer that implements local oscillators in the upconversion and downconversion. It features an RF bandwidth of up to 6 GHz, programmable fractional modulus, programmable charge pump currents, digital lock detect, etc. It is suitable for applications such as CATV equipment, base stations for mobile radio, wireless handsets, wireless LANs, etc.
