The document introduces the AD9863 Rev. A model of the mixed-signal front-end (MxFE™) baseband transceiver, which is suitable for broadband applications. The product features dual 12-bit, 50 MSPS analog-to-digital converters and dual 12-bit, 200 MSPS digital-to-analog converters with internal or external reference. It also includes programmable gain control and clock distribution block. Various data transfer modes can be configured through register programmability or optionally limited programmability through mode pins. The product also has independent Rx and Tx power-down control pins, and a 64-lead LFCSP package.
