ABB’s ACS 2000 medium voltage variable speed drive can reduce energy consumption by 30% and is suitable for motor-driven applications. It can replace traditional throttling or damping devices, saving energy, reducing emissions, reducing maintenance costs and improving process performance. The drive is extremely easy to install and commission and can be operated without an input isolation transformer with line voltages from 4.0 to 6.9 kV, saving capital cost and floor space.
