The CP 06BN28 Supplementary Capacitor is an AC capacitor designed for single correction of power factor in transformers and magnetic ballasts in discharge lighting sources such as fluorescent, halogen and ceramic metal halide, high pressure mercury and sodium sources with line frequency of 50 or 60Hz. This gives the light source a power factor boost, cosμ above 0.85.
