AY485 is a RS232-485 converter that implements the mutual conversion between RS232 and 485 interfaces. The characteristics of AY485 interface are that the passive adopts serial port theft electricity technology and does not need external power supply, while the active one requires +5V. The data transmission rate is automatically adapted and can support a baud rate of up to 19200bps. The interface conversion is completely transparent, all the work is done automatically and adapted to all software. The passive one can transmit up to 1200 meters, depending on the speed. The active optical isolation can transmit 10,000 meters or more. Standard RS232 serial port is suitable for all, single chip serial port can also be used. It is compatible with RS485 interface standard.
