The VP-RS2BLNX is a protocol converter that allows remotely accessible cameras to be integrated into existing RS-232 or RS-485 infrastructures for control and configuration. When connected to Bilinx-enabled Bosch cameras, the VP-RS2BLNX converts RS-232 or RS-485 messages into Bilinx communication data. This allows users to control Bilinx-enabled Bosch cameras directly from a computer, digital recorder or video management system. The VP-RS2BLNX is suitable for Dinion, DinionXF and all AutoDome cameras enabled with Bilinx. Typical applications include traffic management systems and video content analysis systems. In these systems, the performance of the camera must be optimised during operation.
