Ethernet Communication Modules represent a breakthrough in the price of PLC peer-to-peer networks, you no longer have to force a single PLC as a network master, PLCs can communicate with each other arbitrarily. Using industrial standard cables, hubs, repeaters, etc., PLCs can be linked to PCs, and our DirectSOFT DDE services can link a simple Windows-level extension table program to PLCs on the network, or use DDE services to link HMI programs to DirectLOGIC PLCs.
