SUBJECT: Flash: A/C and Drivability Improvements OVERVIEW: This bulletin involves selectively erasing and reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with new software. MODELS: 2013 PF Dart NOTE: This bulletin applies to vehicle equipped with a 1.4L engine (Sales Code EAF), the C635 manual transmission (Sales Code DE1), and 50 State Emissions (Sales Code NAS) built between May 3, 2012 (MDH 0503XX) and July 19, 2012 (MDH 0719XX). SYMPTOM/CONDITION: Customers may experience any or all of the following symptoms/conditions: • A noticeable reduction in A/C performance during hard accelerations. • 25 - 50 RPM engine instability at idle. • Hesitation in reverse at low speeds. • Performance derate at high altitude (greater than 6,000 feet) or in temperatures above 90°F.
