  • MAIXM MAX9316A Manual

The MAX9316A is a low-skew, 1-to-5 differential driver designed for clock and data distribution. This device allows selection between two inputs: one differential and one single ended. The selected input is reproduced at five differential outputs. The differential input can be adapted to accept a single-ended input by connecting the on-chip VBB supply to one input as a reference voltage. The MAX9316A features low output-to-output skew (20ps), making it ideal for clock and data distribution across a backplane or board. For interfacing to differential HSTL and (LV)PECL signals, this device operates over a 3.0V to 5.5V supply range, allowing high-performance clock or data distribution in systems with a nominal 3.3V or 5.0V supply. For differential (LV)ECL operation, this device operates with a -3.0V to -5.5V supply. The MAX9316A is offered in a 20-pin wide SO package. Applications include precision clock distribution, low-jitter data repeaters, data and clock drivers and buffers, central-office backplane clock distribution, DSLAM backplane, base stations and ATE. Features include guaranteed 400mV differential output at 1.5GHz, selectable single-ended or differential input, 130ps (max) part-to-part skew at +25°C, 20ps output-to-output skew, 365ps propagation delay, synchronous output enable/disable, on-chip reference for single-ended inputs, input biased to low when open, pin compatible with MC100EL14.

  • MAIXM MAX9210/9214/9220/9222 Manual

This datasheet provides a detailed introduction to the features and characteristics of MAX9210/MAX9214/MAX9220/MAX9222 products, including interfaces, working voltage, and working temperature range.

  • MAIXM MAX3316/3319 Manual

MAX3316-MAX3319 transceivers feature a proprietary low-dropout transmitter output stage that enables RS-232-compatible performance from +2.25V to +3.0V with a dual-charge pump. These devices require only four 0.1µF capacitors, and are guaranteed to operate at data rates up to 460kbps. The MAX3318/MAX3319 achieve a 1µA supply current using Maxim’s revolutionary AutoShutdown Plus™ feature. These devices automatically enter a low-power shutdown mode when the RS-232 cable is disconnected or the transmitters of the connected peripherals are inac- tive for more than 30 seconds. They turn on again when they sense a valid transition at any transmitter or receiver input. AutoShutdown Plus saves power without changes to the existing BIOS or operating system. The MAX3318 is a 2-Tx/2-Rx device while the MAX3319 is a 1-Tx/1-Rx device. These devices also feature a logic-level output (READY) that asserts when the charge pump is regulat- ing and the device is ready to begin transmitting. The MAX3316/MAX3317 are 2-Tx/2-Rx transceivers. The MAX3317 features a 1µA shutdown mode that can be entered by driving SHDN low. The MAX3317’s receivers remain active while in shutdown mode, allowing external devices such as modems to be monitored using only 1µA supply current. These devices are available in space-saving packages: MAX3316 (16-pin SSOP and 20-pin TSSOP), MAX3317/ MAX3318 (20-pin SSOP and 20-pin TSSOP), and MAX3319 (16-pin SSOP).

  • MAIXM MAX14802/14803/14803A Manual

Provide high voltage switching for ultrasonic imaging and printer applications.

  • MAIXM MAX3311/MAX3313 Manual

The MAX3311/MAX3313 are low-power, +5V EIA/TIA-232-compatible transceivers. Both devices have one transmitter and one receiver. The transceivers have a proprietary low-dropout transmitter output stage enabling RS-232-compatible operation from a +5V sup- ply with a single inverting charge pump. These devices require only three 0.1µF capacitors and will run at data rates up to 460kbps while maintaining RS-232-compati- ble output levels. The MAX3311 features a 1µA shutdown mode. In shut- down the device turns off the charge pump, pulls V- to ground, and the transmitter output is disabled. The MAX3313 features an INVALID output that asserts high when an active RS-232 cable signal is connected, sig- naling to the host that a peripheral is connected to the communication port.
