OPTI-STRIP 202-174 Stripper is designed for precision stripping of the outer plastic sheathing of optical fibres. It also performs extremely well on PVC and PTFE insulated wires. The tool has two spring loaded blades, the gap between these can be very accurately adjusted to cleanly cut the sheathing/insulation with no damage to the fibre/wire. Once the adjustment has been set it can be locked to give repeatable results. In operation, once the blades have been adjusted and set, the fibre/wire is inserted, the tool is then rotated and the sheath/insulation pulled off. The waste falls through the hollow handle. Supplied with six bushes and guides to accommodate fibres/wires with an outer diameter of 0.5 to 3mm. Suitable for fibre optic cables from 15 to 1000 microns. Supplied in a plastic box complete with instructions.

SMART-STRIP Universal Wire Stripper is a compact and versatile tool suitable for stripping all types of standard insulation. Produces an accurate depth of cut to any standard insulated wire between 0.75 – 10mm. Strips UTP and STP network cable. Depth adjustment mechanism allows the operator to change the settings across standard insulations and a variety of delicate, shielded multicore cables. Spring loaded action. Dimensions (LxWxD): 97x19x38mm. Weight: 40g.

Micro Strip (MS1) / MK1FD / MK2FC are a range of automatic wire strippers to cover cable sizes 0.25mm2 to 6.00mm2. They all operate using a unique system of self adjusting multiple blades which slice cleanly through the insulation but then form around the conductors to give a clean cut without causing any damage.

These vice/clamping tools are a multi-purpose system based on universal swivel ball joint units that can be fitted with vices or a central mounting rod. A mini-vice swivel joint and a variety of clamps can be added to the rod in any desired configuration. All molded parts are made of glass-filled nylon. The bench bases accept either the long or the short vice or the multi-purpose clamping system mounting rod.
