MAXIM MAX4530/MAX4531/MAX4532 Manual

MAX4530/MAX4531/MAX4532 are low-voltage, CMOS analog ICs configured as an 8-channel multiplexer (mux) (MAX4530), two 4-channel muxes (MAX4531), and three single-pole/double-throw switches (MAX4532). These devices are pin compatible with the industry-standard 74HC4351/74HC4352/74HC4353. All devices have two complementary switch-enable inputs and address latching. The MAX4530/MAX4531/MAX4532 operate from a sin- gle supply of +2V to +12V, or from dual supplies of ±2V to ±6V. On-resistance (150Ω max) is matched between switches to 8Ω max. Each switch can handle rail-to-rail analog signals. Off-leakage current is only 1nA at TA = +25°C and 50nA at TA = +85°C. All digital inputs have 0.8V and 2.4V logic thresholds, ensuring both TTL- and CMOS-logic compatibility when using ±5V or a single +5V supply.

MAXIM MAX4551/MAX4552/MAX4553 Manual

The MAX4551/MAX4552/MAX4553 are quad, low-volt- age, single-pole/single-throw (SPST) analog switches. Each switch is protected against ±15kV electrostatic discharge (ESD) shocks, without latchup or damage. On-resistance (100Ω max) is matched between switch- es to 4Ω max, and is flat (8Ω max) over the specified signal range. Each switch can handle Rail-to-Rail® ana- log signals. The off-leakage current is only 1nA at +25°C and 10nA at +85°C. The MAX4551 has four normally closed (NC) switches, and the MAX4552 has four normally open (NO) switch- es. The MAX4553 has two NC and two NO switches. These CMOS switches can operate with dual power supplies ranging from ±2V to ±6V or a single supply between +2V and +12V. They are fully specified for sin- gle +2.7V operation. All digital inputs have +0.8V and +2.4V logic thresh- olds, ensuring TTL/CMOS-logic compatibility when using ±5V or a single +5V supply.

MAXIM DG202/DG212 Manual

The DG202/DG212 are normally open, quad single-pole single-throw (SPST) analog switches. These CMOS switches can be continuously operated with power supplies ranging from ±4.5V to ±18V. Maxim guarantees that these switches will not latch up if the power supplies are disconnected with input signals still connected. The DG202/DG212 are similar to the DG201/DG211 except for inverted control inputs. All devices have guaranteed break-before-make switching, as well as essentially constant on-resistance over the analog signal range. All switches conduct current in either direction and add no offset to the output signal. Compared to the original manufacturer’s products, Maxim’s DG202/DG212 consume very little power, making them better suited for portable applications. Maxim has also eliminated the need for the third logic power supply (VL) that is required for the operation of the original manufacturer’s DG212 without sacrificing compatibility.

MAXIM DG528/DG529 Manual

Maxim’s DG528/DG529 are monolithic, 8-channel, CMOS multiplexers with on-board address and control latches that simplify design and reduce board space in microprocessor-based applications. The DG528 is a single-ended, 1-of-8 multiplexer, while the DG529 is a differential, 2-of-8 multiplexer. These devices can operate as multiplexers or demultiplexers. The DG528/DG529 have break-before-make switching to prevent momentary shorting of the input signals. Each device operates with dual supplies (±4.5V to ±20V) or a single supply (+5V to +30V). All logic inputs are TTL and CMOS compatible. The Maxim DG528/DG529 are pin and electrically compatible with the industry-standard DG528/DG529.

MAXIM DG506A/DG507A Manual

The DG506A/DG507A are monolithic CMOS analog multiplexers from Maxim. The DG506A is a single 16-channel (1 of 16) multiplexer and the DG507A is a differential 8-chan- nel (2 of 16) multiplexer. Both devices feature break-before-make switching. Maxim guarantees that these multiplexers will not latch- up if the power supplies are turned off with the input signals still present as long as absolute maximum ratings are not violated. The multiplexers operate over a wide range of power supplies from Q4.5V to Q18V. Compared to the original manufacturer’s devices, Maxim’s DG506A/DG507A consume significantly less power, making them ideal for portable equipment.

MAXIM MAX4667/MAX4668/MAX4669 Manual

MAX4667/MAX4668/MAX4669 are MAXIM's three dual analog switches, with low on-resistance (2.5 ohms max), on-resistance matching (0.5 ohms max) and voltage range consistency (0.5 ohms max). Each switch can handle Rail-to-Rail® analog signals. The switch-off current is only 5nA max at +85°C. These analog switches are ideal for low distortion applications and are the preferred solution over mechanical relays in automatic test equipment or applications where current switching is required. They have low power requirements, occupy less board space and are more reliable than mechanical relays. MAX4667 has two normally closed (NC) switches, MAX4668 has two normally open (NO) switches and MAX4669 has one NC and one NO switch to ensure break-before-make operation. These switches can operate from a +4.5V to +36V single supply or from ±4.5V to ±20V dual supplies. All digital inputs have +0.8V and +2.4V logic thresholds, ensuring TTL/CMOS-logic compatibility when using ±15V supplies or a single +12V supply.
