LINEAR TECHNOLOGY LTC4556 Manual

The LTC4556 provides all necessary power control, level translation and supervisory functions for a smart card or S.A.M. card interface. The part contains a low noise charge pump plus LDO for generating VCC power, as well as all necessary level shifting circuitry. The card voltage can be set to either 1.8V, 3V or 5V. The LTC4556 includes a card detection channel with automatic debounce circuitry. To reduce wiring costs, the LTC4556 interfaces to a microcontroller via a simple 4-wire serial interface. Multiple devices may be connected in daisy-chain fashion so that the number of wires to the card socket board is independent of the number of sockets. Status data is returned over the same interface. Extensive security features ensure proper deactivation sequencing in the event of a supply fault or a smart card electrical fault. The smart card pins can withstand greater than 10kV ESD in-situ with no additional components. The LTC4556 is available in a small, low profile (0.75mm), 4mm × 4mm QFN package.

LINEAR TECHNOLOGY LTC3717 Manual

The LTC3717 is a synchronous step-down switching regulator controller from Texas Instruments for DDR and QDR memory termination. The controller uses a valley current control architecture to deliver very low duty cycles without requiring a sense resistor. Operating frequency is selected by an external resistor and is compensated for variations in VIN. Forced continuous operation reduces noise and RF interference. Output voltage is internally set to half of VREF, which is user programmable. Fault protection is provided by an output overvoltage comparator and optional short-circuit shutdown timer. Soft-start capability for supply sequencing is accomplished by internally compensating VIN's variation with switching frequency.

LINEAR TECHNOLOGY - LTC3568 handbook

The LTC3568 is a constant frequency, synchronous step-down DC/DC converter. It is intended for medium power applications, operating from a 2.5V to 5.5V input voltage range. The device has a user-configurable operating frequency up to 4MHz, allowing the use of tiny, low cost capacitors and inductors 2mm or less in height. The output voltage is adjustable from 0.8V to 5V. Internal sychronous 0.11Ω power switches with 2.4A peak current ratings provide high effi ciency. The LTC3568’s current mode architecture and external compensation allow the transient response to be optimized over a wide range of loads and output capacitors. The LTC3568 can be confi gured for automatic power sav- ing Burst Mode operation to reduce gate charge losses when the load current drops below the level required for continuous operation. For reduced noise and RF interfer- ence, the SYNC/MODE pin can be confi gured to skip pulses or provide forced continuous operation. To further maximize battery life, the P-channel MOSFET is turned on continuously in dropout (100% duty cycle) with a low quiescent current of 60μA. In shutdown, the device draws <1μA.

LINEAR TECHNOLOGY - LTC2411/LTC2411-1handbook

The LTC ®2411/LTC2411-1 are 2.7V to 5.5V micropower 24-bit differential ∆Σ analog-to-digital converters with an integrated oscillator, 2ppm INL and 0.29ppm RMS noise. They use delta-sigma technology and provide single cycle settling time for multiplexed applications. Through a single pin, the LTC2411 can be configured for better than 110dB differential mode rejection at 50Hz or 60Hz ±2%, and the LTC2411-1 can provide better than 87dB input differential mode rejection over the range of 49Hz to 61.2Hz, or they can be driven by an external oscillator for a user-defined rejection frequency. The LTC2411 and LTC2411-1 are identical when driven by an external oscillator. The internal oscillator requires no external frequency setting components. The converters accept any external differential reference voltage from 0.1V to VCC for flexible ratiometric and remote sensing measurement configurations. The full- scale differential input range is from –0.5VREF to 0.5VREF. The reference common mode voltage, VREFCM, and the input common mode voltage, VINCM, may be indepen- dently set anywhere within the GND to VCC range of the LTC2411/LTC2411-1. The DC common mode input rejec- tion is better than 140dB. The LTC2411/LTC2411-1 communicate through a flexible 3-wire digital interface that is compatible with SPI and MICROWIRE TM protocols.
