Richtek RT8800/B Manual

The RT8800/B is Richtek's multi-phase synchronous buck controller dedicated to high-density power supply regulation. The device can implement 2, 3 buck switching stages, which operate in interleaved phase set automatically. The output voltage is regulated and controlled following the input voltage of FB pin. Such a single analog control provides a simple, flexible, wide-range and extreme cost-effective high-density voltage regulation solutions for various high-density power supply application. The RT8800/B multi-phase architecture provides high output current while maintaining low power dissipation on power devices and low stress on input and output capacitors. The high equivalent operating frequency also reduces the component dimension and the output voltage ripple in load transient. RT8800/B implement both voltage and current loops to achieve good regulation, response and power stage thermal balance. The RT8800/B apply the time sharing DCR current sensing technology newly as well; with such a topology, the RT8800/B extract the DCR of output inductor as sense component to deliver a more precise load line regulation and better thermal balance capability. Moreover, the parts monitor the output voltage for over-current and over-voltage protection; Soft-start and programmable under-voltage lockout are also provided to ensure safe and reliable operation.

RichTek RT9177 Manual

The RT9177 is a 200mA low dropout and low noise micro-power regulator suitable for portable RF applications. The output voltage accuracy within ±2% and range from 2.4V to 3.2V in 100mV increments could be selected. It is designed for using very low ESR output capacitor. Its output remains stable even in using 1µF ceramic as its output capacitor. Using an internal PMOS as the pass device cause that don’t need extra GND current in heavy load and dropout conditions. In shutdown mode, nearly zero operation current cause the IC is suitable for battery-power devices. Other features including current limiting, over temperature protection and adding a capacitor in bypass pin to improve its noise performance are functional.

RICHTEK RT9818 Micro-Power Voltage Detectors handbook

The RT9818 is a micro-power voltage detector from Richtek that supervises the power supply voltage level for microprocessors (μP) or digital systems. It provides internally fixed threshold levels ranging from 1.2V to 5V with 0.1V per step, which covers most digital applications. It features low supply current of 3μA. The RT9818 performs supervisory function by sending out a reset signal whenever the VDD voltage falls below a preset threshold level. This reset signal will last the whole period before VDD recovering. Once VDD recovered upcrossing the threshold level, the reset signal will be released after a certain delay time. RT9818 is provided in SC-82, SC-70-3, SOT-23-3, SOT-23-5 and SOT-89 packages.
