ABB offers a fast recovery option for its ACS 6000 medium voltage drive to further increase the drive's availability. This option is designed to maintain the DC link voltage level during a main power loss by supplying voltage from an UPS (uninterruptible power supply) to the DC link, thus minimizing the dependency on auxiliary power.
