SP6682 is a high efficiency charge pump regulator ideal for driving white LEDs. It features low profile, inductorless regulator, X1.5 and X2 modes for highest efficiency, +2.7V to +5.5V input voltage range, fast turn-on time, 1mA quiescent current, <1.5µA shutdown current, built-in 600kHz oscillator, programmable output current or voltage, PWM dimming control with enable pin, shutdown to disconnect output from input, soft start to eliminate in-rush current, industry standard 10-pin MSOP package and small 10-pin DFN package.

The SP6683 is a high power current regulated charge pump ideal for converting a Li-Ion battery input for driving up to 8 white LED’s used in backlighting color displays. The SP6683 operates with an internal 1.2MHz clock, enabling the use of small external components. Output current can be accurately regulated by modulating the switcher between the charge pump and output capacitor. In shutdown mode, the SP6683 discharges the output to ground and draws less than 500nA current. The SP6683 utilizes 1µF capacitors to deliver up to 200mA current regulated WLED drive capability. The SP6683 family includes three options that allow the user to optimize LED driving circuit; SP6683-LV with low voltage reference, SP6683-03 with high impedance output in shutdown, and SP6683 with pulled down output in shutdown. The SP6683 is offered in 10-pin DFN package.

The SP7618 is a constant current LED driver from Sipex Corporation. It features a low dropout voltage, high accuracy and high reliability. The chip uses a linear circuit to output 1A of constant current, and has an internal thermal protection function to automatically shut down the output when the LED overheats.

SP6122 is a low voltage, micro 8, PFET, Buck controller optimized for single supply, 3V-7V applications. It is ideal for 1A to 5A, small footprint, DC-DC power converters.

The SP7683 is a high efficiency four channel charge pump LED driver from Sipex Corporation. It can drive up to 4 white LEDs with matching currents. Based on the supply headroom available for the four precision current sinks, SP7683 automatically switches between 1X and 1.5X modes.

The SP3239E is an RS-232 transceiver solution intended for portable or hand-held applications such as notebook and palmtop computers. The SP3239E uses an internal high-efficiency, charge-pump power supply that requires only 0.1µF capacitors in 3.3V operation. This charge pump and Sipex's driver architecture allow the SP3239E device to deliver compliant RS-232 performance from a single power supply ranging from +3.0V to +5.0V. The SP3239E is a 5-driver/3-receiver device, ideal for laptop/notebook computer and PDA applications. The SP3239E includes one complementary receiver that remains alert to monitor an external device's Ring Indicate signal while the device is shutdown.

The SP2526A is a dual +3.0V to +5.5V USB Supervisory Power Control Switch ideal for self-powered and bus-powered Universal Serial Bus (USB) applications.

SP6120 is a low voltage, synchronous buck controller optimized for single supply 3V-5.5V applications. It features high efficiency, selectable discontinuous or continuous conduction mode, fast transient response, accurate reference voltage and frequency.

The SPX29302A is a 3A, highly accurate voltage regulator with a low drop out voltage of 370mV (typical) @ 3A. These regulators are specifically designed for low voltage applications that require a low dropout voltage and a fast transient response. Fault protection features include over-current, reverse battery, and positive and negative voltage transients. On-Chip trimming adjusts the reference voltage to 1% initial accuracy. The SPX29302A is offered in 5-pin TO-220 & TO-263 packages.

The SP6132H is a synchronous step-down switching regulator controller optimized for high efficiency. The SP6690 is a micro power boost regulator specifically designed for powering series configuration white LED. It features high output voltage, high efficiency, low quiescent current, and is suitable for single battery cell operation.

The SP682 is a monolithic charge pump voltage converter that produces a doubled, negative voltage from a single positive supply. The SP682 charge pump outputs a –10V voltage from a +5V input. Three external charge pump capacitors are required to support the voltage conversion and voltage doubling process. An internal oscillator generates a 12kHz clock which cycles the internal switching that charges the storage and transfer capacitors. The SP682 charge pump is ideal for low power applications requiring a typical +3V battery source such as a lithium cell. Typical applications are handheld instruments, notebook and laptop computers, cellular phones, and data acquisition or GP systems.
