How do you attach the strap to the Hasselblad 501C?
Place the strap clip over the strap lug, press the tip of the clip toward the camera while pulling the strap, then slide the clip over the lug to the locked position.
What does the magazine status indicator mean?
White indicates the magazine is ready to operate; red indicates the film has not been advanced after the latest exposure.
How do I open the focusing hood?
Move the catch to the right; the hood walls spring into position automatically.
How do I attach the lens?
Align the red index on the lens with the red index on the camera, insert the lens into the bayonet fitting and rotate clockwise until it clicks.
When can the front protective cover be removed?
The front protective cover may only be removed when the camera is fully wound (cocked). Turn the cover in the direction of the arrow to remove it.
