The AS1117 is a compact LED driver that can control 64 individual LEDs or 8 digits of 7‑segment displays. It is programmed via a 3.4 MHz I²C‑compatible two‑wire interface, allowing individual segment control, error detection, and both analog and digital brightness control. Only a single external resistor (RSET) is required to set the segment current.
