This document describes the STMicroelectronics STEVAL-ILL005V1 VIPer12A-E offline constant current driver for high-intensity LEDs. The driver can drive from 1 to 4 LEDs and has selectable constant current outputs: 350 mA, 700 mA, and 1.05 A. The input voltage range is 90 to 264 VAC, compliant with EN55022 class B for EMI.

This product is a low cost, high efficiency, high brightness multiple LED driver based on the integrated off-line switching regulator VIPer22A-E. The board is an off-line, constant current power supply capable of driving from 2 to 8 LEDs in series operating from universal mains input.
