The LTC1877 is a high efficiency, low quiescent current, synchronized, burst mode synchronous buck regulator.

LTC2430/LTC2431 are 2.7V to 5.5V micropower 20-bit differential ∆Σ analog-to-digital converters with an integrated oscillator, 3ppm INL and 0.56ppm RMS noise. They use delta-sigma technology and provide single cycle settling time for multiplexed applications. Through a single pin, the LTC2430/LTC2431 can be configured for better than 110dB differential mode rejection at 50Hz or 60Hz ±2%, or they can be driven by an external oscillator for a user-defined rejection frequency. The internal oscil- lator requires no external frequency setting components. The converters accept any external differential reference voltage from 0.1V to VCC for flexible ratiometric and remote sensing measurement configurations. The full- scale differential input range is from –0.5VREF to 0.5VREF. The reference common mode voltage, VREFCM, and the input common mode voltage, VINCM, may be indepen- dently set anywhere within GND to VCC. The DC common mode input rejection is better than 120dB. The LTC2430/LTC2431 communicate through a flexible 3-wire digital interface that is compatible with SPI and MICROWIRE TM protocols.

The LTC6900 is a precision, low power oscillator that is easy to use and occupies very little PC board space. The oscillator frequency is programmed by a single external resistor (RSET). The LTC6900 has been designed for high accuracy operation (≤1.5% frequency error) without the need for external trim components. The LTC6900 operates with a single 2.7V to 5.5V power supply and provides a rail-to-rail, 50% duty cycle square wave output. The LT1640AL/LT1640AH are 8-pin, negative voltage Hot SwapTM controllers that allow a board to be safely inserted and removed from a live –48V backplane. Inrush current is limited to a programmable value by controlling the gate voltage of an external N-channel pass transistor. The pass transistor is turned off if the input voltage is less than the programmable undervoltage threshold or greater than the overvoltage threshold. A programmable electronic circuit breaker protects the system against shorts. The PWRGD (LT1640AL) or PWRGD (LT1640AH) signal can be used to directly enable a power module. The LT1640AL is designed for modules with a low enable input and the LT1640AH for modules with a high enable input. The LT1640AL/LT1640AH are available in 8-pin PDIP and SO packages.

The LTC1257 is a complete single supply, 12-bit voltage output D/A converter (DAC) in an SO-8 package from Linear Technology Corporation. The LTC1257 includes an output buffer amplifier, 2.048V voltage reference and an easy to use three-wire cascadable serial interface. An external reference can be used to override the internal reference and extend the output voltage range to 12V. The power supply current is a low 350µA when operating from a 5V supply, making the LTC1257 ideal for battery-powered applications. The space-saving 8-pin SO package and operation with no external components provide the smallest 12-bit D/A system available.

The LTC3703 is a synchronous step-down switching regulator controller that can directly step down voltages from up to 100V, making it ideal for telecom and automotive applications. It drives external N-channel MOSFETs using a constant frequency (up to 600kHz), voltage mode architecture. A precise internal reference provides 1% DC accuracy. It has a high bandwidth error amplifier and patented line feed-forward compensation for fast line and load transient response. The LTC3703 has strong 1Ω gate drivers for higher current applications. The operating frequency is user programmable from 100kHz to 600kHz and can be synchronized to an external clock for noise-sensitive applications. Current limit is programmable with an external resistor and utilizes the voltage drop across the synchronous MOSFET to eliminate the need for a current sense resistor. LTC485 is a low power differential bus/line transceiver designed for multipoint data transmission standard RS485 applications with extended common mode range (12V to –7V). It also meets the requirements of RS422. CMOS design offers significant power savings over its bipolar counterpart without sacrificing ruggedness against overload of ESD damage. The driver and receiver feature three-state outputs, with the driver outputs maintaining high impedance over the entire common mode range. Excessive power dissipation caused by bus contention or faults is prevented by a thermal shutdown circuit which forces the driver outputs into a high impedance state. The receiver has a fail-safe feature which guarantees a high output state when the inputs are left open. The LTC485 is fully specified over the commercial and extended industrial temperature range.
