The NCV8141 is a linear regulator suited for microprocessor applications in automotive environments. This ON Semiconductor part provides the power for the microprocessors along with many of the control functions needed in today’s computer based systems. Incorporating all of these features saves both cost, and board space. The NCV8141 provides a low sleep mode current as compared to the CS8141.

The NCV7601 is a quad driver from ONSEMI. It is suitable for a variety of loads. The device supports TTL/DTL/CMOS compatible inputs, features NAND logic and common enable, has a maximum working voltage of 60V, and typical applications include body and drivetrain electronics, incandescent lamps/LED loads, solenoid/relay/inductor loads, heater/resistor loads, stepper/DC motor loads.

The NCV7510 is a fully programmable high side MOSFET predriver designed for driving solenoids or other unipolar actuators. The product is optimized for common-rail diesel fuel injection applications and includes an additional synchronous clamp MOSFET predriver. Peak and hold currents, peak dwell time, and other features can be programmed via the device's SPI port. The load current is continuously sampled and compared to the programmable 7-bit peak/hold DAC values, and the load self-modulates to maintain the desired currents at each of the peak and hold points. Passive fault diagnostics monitor and protect the MOSFETs when a fault is detected. Fault data is available via SPI, and an open-drain FAULT output provides immediate fault notification to a host controller.

The NCV7380 is a physical layer device for a single wire data link capable of operating in applications where high data rate is not required and a lower data rate can achieve cost reductions in both the physical media components and in the microprocessor which uses the network. The NCV7380 is designed to work in systems developed for LIN 1.3 or LIN 2.0. The IC furthermore can be used in ISO9141 systems. Because of the very low current consumption of the NCV7380 in recessive state, it’s suitable for ECU applications with low standby current requirements, whereby no sleep/wake−up control from the microprocessor is necessary.

The NCP612/NCV612 series is a fixed output linear regulator designed for handheld communication equipment and portable battery powered applications that require low quiescent current. The NCP612/NCV612 series features an ultra-low quiescent current of 40μA. Each device contains a voltage reference unit, an error amplifier, a PMOS power transistor, resistors for setting output voltage, current limit, and temperature limit protection circuits. The NCP612/NCV612 is designed to be used with low-cost ceramic capacitors. The device is housed in the micro-miniature SC70-5 surface mount package. NCP552 is an 80 mA CMOS low Iq NOCAP voltage regulator. This series of fixed output NOCAP linear regulators are designed for handheld communication equipment and portable battery powered applications which require low quiescent. This series features an ultra-low quiescent current of 2.8 µA. Each device contains a voltage reference unit, an error amplifier, a PMOS power transistor, resistors for setting output voltage, current limit, and temperature limit protection circuits. The NCP552 series provides an enable pin for ON/OFF control. These voltage regulators have been designed to be used with low cost ceramic capacitors. The devices have the ability to operate without an output capacitor. The devices are housed in the micro-miniature SC82-AB surface mount package. The L4949 is a monolithic integrated 5.0 V voltage regulator with a very low dropout and additional functions such as power–on reset and input voltage sense. It is designed for supplying the micro–computer controlled systems especially in automotive applications.

The NCV4299 is a family of precision micropower voltage regulators with an output current capability of 150 mA. It is available in 5.0 V or 3.3 V output voltage, and is housed in an 8−lead SON and in a 14−lead SON (fused) package. The output voltage is accurate within ±2% with a maximum dropout voltage of 0.5 V at 100 mA. Low Quiescent current is a feature drawing only 90 μA with a 1 mA load. This part is ideal for any and all battery operated microprocessor equipment. The device features microprocessor interfaces including an adjustable reset output and adjustable system monitor to provide shutdown early warning. An inhibit function is available on the 14−lead part. With inhibit active, the regulator turns off and the device consumes less than 1.0 μA of quiescent current. The NCV4279 is a 5.0V precision micropower voltage regulator with an output current capability of 150mA. The output voltage is accurate within ±2.0% with a maximum dropout voltage of 0.5V at 100mA. Low quiescent current is a feature drawing only 150uA with a 1.0mA load. This part is ideal for any and all battery operated microprocessor equipment. Microprocessor control logic includes an active reset output (RO) with delay and a SI/SO monitor which can be used to provide an early warning signal to the microprocessor of a potential impending reset signal. The use of the SI/SO monitor allows the microprocessor to finish any signal processing before the reset shuts the microprocessor down. The active Reset circuit operates correctly at an output voltage as low as 1.0V. The Reset function is activated during the power up sequence or during normal operation if the output voltage drops outside the regulation limits. The reset threshold voltage can be decreased by the connection of an external resistor divider to the RADJ lead. The regulator is protected against reverse battery, short circuit, and thermal overload conditions.
