The Pioneer DJM-909 is a DJ mixer that features a new optical crossfader, which is fully adjustable and non-contact. The optical sensors ensure that the sound quality remains excellent over time. The DJ can customize the fader curve, lag, and tension, and visually adjust them using the LCD display. The mixer also has touch screen effects, with dual effects units and a touch-sensitive LCD display for real-time parameter tweaking. It offers more control over effects with toggle switches and LED indicators, and includes session input and output for battling purposes.
