This document is an instruction manual that explains how to connect, operate, and adjust this product. The product can be powered by household AC power or dry cell batteries. Insert memory batteries to save stored CD programs and radio stations. If memory batteries are not used, memory items are erased in situations such as power failures or when the power cord is disconnected from the unit. The batteries need to be replaced approximately once a year. When using household AC power, ensure that the power cord is firmly connected. To conserve power, unplug the unit from the household AC power outlet when it is not going to be used for a long time.
