The ADP1715/ADP1716 is a 500 mA low dropout CMOS linear regulator with a wide input voltage range and low shutdown current. It offers multiple fixed output voltage options and an adjustable output voltage option. The regulator provides excellent load/line transient response, current limit and thermal overload protection, and can be controlled with logic enable. It is suitable for applications such as notebook computers, memory components, telecommunications equipment, network equipment, DSP/FPGA/μP supplies, and instrumentation.
