This document introduces the features and characteristics of the MITSUBISHI Intelligent Power Module PM25CL1A120, released in May 2009. The module adopts the new 5th generation Full-Gate CSTBTTM chip and the over-temperature protection function that detects the chip surface temperature of CSTBTTM. The module has error output signal capability from all each protection upper and lower arm of IPM and is compatible with L-series package. It is a 3-phase 25A, 1200V current-sense and temperature-sense IGBT type inverter with monolithic gate drive and protection logic, and detection, protection, and status indication circuits for short-circuit, over-temperature, and under-voltage.
